The United States of America celebrates its Independence Day on July 4 every year. The day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
Being an IB authorized World School, Akal Academy Baru Sahib observes international days as part of their academic calendar in order to instill international mindedness and respecting cultures across the world.
American Independence Day was observed by organizing special programs in the assembly like speeches on the struggle for independence, choreography by little children and reciting their National Anthem.
