Spiritual Development Program by Harjot Singh Khalsa- Content Creater and Producer of SikhNet Audio Stories.

Akal Academy Baru Sahib had the honour of inviting Bhai Harijot Singh Ji, the renowned Content Creator and Producer of SikhNet Audio Stories, as part of its annual Academic Exchange and Spiritual Development Program.

A graduate of Miri Piri Academy, Bhai Harijot Singh has been closely connected with Sikhi from an early age. He is widely recognized for his work with SikhNet, where he writes, narrates, and produces captivating audio stories that bring Sikh history and values to life for children around the world. Currently based in Mexico, he is also an author of several scholarly articles on Sikh heritage and frequently travels globally to conduct sessions on spirituality and Sikh history.

During his visit to Baru Sahib, Bhai Harijot Singh conducted a series of spiritually enriching sessions for students across various grades and also for school principals:

• Grades 3 & 4: A video on Bibi Sharan Kaur Ji was shown, followed by a discussion on her life and sacrifice.

• Grade 5: Students watched a video on the value of earning an honest living (Kirat) and learned about the inspiring life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.

• Grade 6: A story on Samund Khan was presented, where Guru Gobind Singh Ji shoots an arrow at a wooden stool (peeri), followed by an insightful explanation of the incident.

• Grade 8: A discussion on the Khalsa Panth, the significance of Amrit Sanchar Baptism, and historic events such as the Battle of Chamkaur and the Martyrdom of the Sahibzadas at Sirhind.

• Grade 10: Spiritual significance and greatness of the Amrit Sanchar ceremony.

• Principals’ Inaugural Session: Explored the lives and spiritual contributions of Baba Sri Chand Ji, Baba Gurditta Ji, and Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj to deepen the understanding of Sikh philosophy and history.

Reflecting on his experience, Bhai Sahib shared:

“I have concluded that Baru Sahib is Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s special project—it is his playground. I feel that this place is recapturing the spirit of Anandpur Sahib under the Guru’s direct guidance. I am deeply impressed by the visionary and comprehensive initiatives here, which go far beyond anything I anticipated. Everything at Baru Sahib feels like it is under Guru Gobind Singh Ji's direct blessing. It has been my honor to witness this.”
