With the blessings of Guru Sahiban and the revered Founding Saints, today Eternal University, Baru Sahib (a sister institution of Akal Academy Baru Sahib) celebrates its 14th Convocation, marking another milestone in an 18-year journey from 2008 to 2026, rooted in education, values, service and purpose.
The occasion holds greater significance as we commemorate the 100th Birth Anniversary of Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji (1926–2022), the Founding Father, whose efforts helped shape Baru Sahib into an educational ecosystem where modern learning is deeply connected with values and service to humanity.
This occasion is being graced by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Dr. Harminder Singh Baweja, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, who was welcomed by Hon’ble Dr. Davinder Singh Ji, Chancellor, Eternal University & President, The Kalgidhar Trust, and Hon’ble Dr. Neelam Kaur (MS, MD – Ophthalmology), Vice-Chancellor, Eternal University, along with the Deans, faculty members and students.
On this occasion, the entire Baru Sahib educational community comes together under the Educational Institute Integration Program, giving students of Akal Academy Baru Sahib exposure to higher education programmes and the opportunity to listen to words of wisdom shared by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Dr. Harminder Singh Baweja Ji; Hon’ble Dr. Davinder Singh Ji, Chancellor, Eternal University; and Hon’ble Dr. Neelam Kaur, Vice-Chancellor, Eternal University.
As another generation of Eternal University students steps into a new journey, the Convocation celebrates academic achievement and the responsibility to use knowledge for the greater good.
