STEAM & STEM Challenge and Science Trivia!

To foster scientific temperament, creativity, and analytical thinking, a STEAM & STEM Challenge, along with a Science Trivia Quiz, was organised for students.

As part of the challenge, students were tasked with designing and constructing the tallest self-supporting structure using only three materials — newspaper, glue, and cello tape. The activity encouraged the practical application of key Physics concepts from the CBSE curriculum, including Gravitational Potential Energy, Pressure, Centre of Mass, Conditions of Equilibrium (Laws of Motion), Torque (Moment of Force), and Friction, thereby developing a deeper understanding of structural stability, load distribution, and real-world applications of theoretical principles, which helped promote practical-based and concept-oriented learning while strengthening their conceptual clarity.
